Your adventure begins in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, located at an altitude of 2,640 metres, making it one of the highest capitals in the world. It is home to more than 8 million inhabitants and offers a rich mix of cultural attractions. The Museo del Oro holds over 55,000 gold artefacts, while the historic Plaza de Bolívar is the centre of the city's political and cultural life.

Monserrate
This iconic peak rises to a height of approximately 3,152 metres above sea level and offers panoramic views of the entire city and surrounding countryside. On the summit is the pilgrimage church dedicated to El Señor Caído (The Fallen Christ), which is the destination of many pilgrims, especially during important religious festivals.

Salento - Gateway to the Coffee Triangle
Salento, a picturesque town in the heart of Colombia's coffee triangle, is known for its traditional colourful houses and welcoming atmosphere. The region is a key producer of some of the world's finest coffee. Salento is also the starting point for trips to the Cocora Valley, home to the wax palm, the national tree of Colombia.

Cocora Valley is part of Los Nevados National Park and is famous for its wax palms, which can reach heights of up to 60 metres, making them the tallest palms in the world. The area is ideal for hiking and nature watching, and many species of birds can be found here, including the rare Andean condor.

Tayrona - A Natural Paradise on the Caribbean Coast
Tayrona National Park covers an area of 150 km² and is known for its pristine beaches and biodiversity. The park is home to more than 300 species of birds and many endemic plant species. The Lost City (Ciudad Perdida) - Secrets of an Ancient Civilization
The Lost City, discovered in 1972, is an ancient city built by the Tayrona civilization around 800 AD. The site contains more than 200 terraces carved into the mountain and is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in South America. The trek to the Lost City is challenging, but the reward is a unique insight into the history and culture of the region.

Cartagena - Pearl of the Caribbean
Founded in 1533, Cartagena is one of the best preserved colonial cities in the Americas and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
