Tips for unforgettable places
Experience Namibia, a land of sand dunes, wildlife and cultural treasures
Namibia is a fascinating destination that combines dramatic landscapes, unique nature and rich culture. From the world's highest dunes in the Namib Desert to the wilderness of Etosha National Park, this country offers unforgettable adventures. Embark on a journey that will show you the diversity of this African pearl.
Namib Desert
The silence and beauty of the world's largest dunes

The Namib deserts will captivate you with their endless orange dunes. Climbing Dune 45 or Big Daddy, the highest dunes in the world, is an experience you will never forget. Visit the iconic Dead Vlei, a dry salt flat with fossilised acacia trees that form one of the most photographed natural phenomena in the world.
Dune 45
Dune 45, located 45 kilometres from the town of Sesriem, is one of the most famous dunes in the Namib Desert, reaching a height of approximately 85 metres. Its red-orange colour, caused by the oxidation of iron in the sand, and its elegant shape make it a favourite destination for photographers who come here to capture the play of light and shadow. The sand of the dune is approximately 5 million years old, which is equivalent to the age of the entire Namib Desert, considered the oldest desert in the world.
Big Daddy Dune
The Big Daddy Dune, rising to a height of approximately 325 metres, is one of the highest dunes in the world and is located near the famous Deadvlei salt flat. The climb to its summit is physically demanding but offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, where the contrasting colours of the white salt flats, red sand and blue sky blend.
Deadvlei
The Deadvlei salt flat, located in the Sossusvlei region of the Namib Desert, is unique for its white clay and salt bedrock, which contrasts strongly with the surrounding red sand dunes. This plain was created when the Tsauchab River, after a period of heavy rainfall, created shallow pools in which acacia trees began to grow. When the climate changed and drought hit the area, the dunes gradually cut off the river's access, leading to the drying up of the area. The trees that remain are between 600 and 900 years old and, due to the extreme aridity, have not decomposed but have been blackened by the sun, giving them their characteristic appearance.
Journey through Namibia
Wildlife, mountains and adrenaline

A journey through Namibia will give the traveller a unique opportunity to meet different tribes and experience their culture as the landscape changes from modern Windhoek, through the majestic dunes of the Namib Desert, to the coastal town of Swakopmund and the dramatic rock formations of Spitzkoppe.
